Located in the USS Grant Hotel at 326 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101, The Grant Grill is one of the more upscale restaurants in Downtown San Diego. This is the place to enjoy a special occasion. Stepping inside from the noise and grittiness of the street, feels like entering a protected and well-preserved sanctuary. The dining area is spotless and the white table cloths and dinnerware settings on the tables add a sophisticated ambiance to the experience. The servers are dressed impeccably and provide exceptional care to their guests. The wine and drink menu is extensive. The Grant Grill is best known for their US Grant Centennial Manhattan. This drink is blended and aged harmoniously in commemorative oak for 100 days and was released on the Centennial Birthday of the US Grant in 2010.
I enjoyed Pinot Noir, their homemade bread loaf, Ceasar Salad, Hokkaido Scallops and creme brûlée. The food is exquisite and I wish I could eat here more often.
